Listening to Music Choice..

After dinner and for two hours from eight to ten at night, we listened to AT&T Music Choice. maw and I listened to “Easy Listening”; “Singers and Swing” and “Classic Masterpieces”. When Paw decided to join us about an hour later, we listened to “Classic Country” and “True Country”. Then there was the “Sounds of Season”, which was mostly polka and beer songs.

I recognized some favorites, such as Glenn Miller, Willie Nelson, Beethoven and Mozart.

20110930-More Spooks

Two days ago, we were backing out from our driveway and were just straightening out our car to head on to the stop sign and into the MY long stretch of road. When I saw that the Dodge, long-bed white-colored truck was about to leave at the same time we left to attend that morning’s mass. Of course, I offered a subtle flick of my left middle finger disguised as a scratching of my head.

Three days ago, a fellow parishioner came up from behind the three of us. The old fart smiled and expected me to attend the following day’s Bible study. Maw and the her exchanged a few words in their Filipino language and all of us went our way, with the old fart smiling and making the “sign of the cross”. Later, I overhead a couple of old farts talk between themselves. They were behind us and headed for their cars, too. They mentioned something about prayers. Of course, I was making subtle faces and mumbling under my breath: WTF?! I wonder if these people take a hint: I don’t do religion.

Addendum- Last edited by FLYNN on 20110930 at 22:22:28 PM PDT: After our walk around the mall sometime last week, there sat a buck teeth white guy on one of the wooden benches near the water fountain. I stared at him and I saw one Chinese guy with his young family looking at the guy, too. The buck teeth guy had a silver wedding band on his left right finger and wore those black Canvase shoes with white rubber bottom. He wore mostly black and had a short, light hair color. I wanted to smash his face in with my fist.

Bad widget…

I sent the Support team another issue regarding the difference in the count item for “Category Cloud” widget and the “edit.php” page. The widget is off by two or three items, especially for my main “Uncategorized” tag. I merely used “A list or dropdown of categories” widget in place of the “Category Cloud” widget. But I really wanted the cloud version until the issue is resolved.

Fixed page again…

Okay. So I’ve deleted an old page, along with its history of some of the most recent edits and re-created a same but new page for the “front/home page”, which is the “Contents”, a page which has been linked by a “dedicated blogger’s” website. Only another blogger linked to my blog.

Anyway, I wanted to model the “table of contents” after my favorite religious “daily companion”, which we thought would not have been brought out today. But thankfully, Ben placed those on a table in the front where everyone grabbed one (and hopefully honestly).

But I didn’t want to duplicate ALL the pages from the “Page” widget located in the bottom/sidebar. Currently, there are really only three major pages to any website and mine include: a page about the site (or frequently asked question and/or sitemap of pages); a page about the administrator, author, contributor and/or editor and the contents, which are the blog entries.

There is only one credit for the customized header images. That idea was borrowed/stolen from the “TOC” of the “daily companion”, of course.

Two tenses…

So while playing around with the WordPress.com themes, I’ve changed the site title and tagline several times and used the first person “my” and a third person, respectively. It’s kind of like a good personality but really a bad person who is fugly and has lots of personal “evil” thoughts.

So there you go: “My Blogging Path” is all mine. And my thoughts are personal while hiding behind an anonymous character by the name of Flynn. It’s short, like me but not always sweet. Bahaha!
