At around 12:00pm today, I noticed something juicy on my WordPress.com dashboard! That’s right! It’s a “noticon”. Well, right now, it’s an “empty noticon”, which looks ten times this image below (14px by 14pxy):

The status of replies to the subject is designated with a little “down-draft” arrow located at/pointing to the left/right of the “notification subject”, when clicked will further show how the comment was made “In reply to [link to comment here here]“.
As usual, the “likes noticon” is designated with a little gray-colored “star” located at the left of the “notification subject” as the below image shows (enlarged ten times from 14px by 14px):

A few minutes ago (1600 pm 5/28/12), I noticed a Follow noticon instead of two new noticons. Here is an image showing the “follow noticon” (located to the left of the subject):
