Genentech’s Lucentis OKd for diabetics – SFGate
I read a news article a few minutes ago about how the benefits of statin drugs help lower cholesterol and prevent heart attacks and strokes but may lead to diabetes. Now this new drug is suppose to help deal with blindness associated with diabetes. WTF? Why are these drugs even manufactured in the first place if one complication arises after another? Huh?

Odd as it may seem, great struggles such as the one you can see emerging from my journals are not always visible to the participants. Much depends on what people dream in the secrecy of their hearts. I have always been as concerned with the shaping of dreams as with the shaping of actions.
