Recently, I have deleted files from Flickr.com and YouTube.com but retained my “Username“‘ and deactivated my Facebook.com, Plinky.com and Twitter.com accounts. And I still don’t know what to do with my newest Tumblr. com, which is simple and easy to use for micro-blogging as a replacement to the annoyances with my Twitter account. And so I’m trying to figure out if I want to spread my files across different accounts or just merge everything here WordPress.com where my primary blog is located. I just need a “nifty” blog name suitable to my needs and can’t figure out which of the other registered WordPress.com blogs to “Upgrade to Pro” because I don’t know if “The Blogging Path” is right for my content. Maybe Flynn’s Rants should be better but I cannot export EVERYTHING with this registered domain for one more year!

20120214-Trying Theme
Since the “Infinite Scroll” was implemented for both Twenty-Ten and Twenty-Eleven, I took that as a sign to try new themes! So this time it is:
“Retro-fitted by Justin Tadlock

I like this theme because the muted colors of red, white, blue and beige are easy on the eyes and similar to the colors in the “Luscious” theme. The “Georgia” fonts are normal and easy to read with bold bold titles and headers and are balanced appropriately for the contents and the sidebar, where widgets are boxed separately to give emphasis to each it. The unlisted order is indented and spaced nicely and are set off with square boxes. Of course, I get to see my time-stamp, located to the right of the author’s name.
20120211-Trying Theme
As a personal protest to a recent feature (called an “infinite scroll”) added on two WP.com themes (Twenty-Ten and Twenty-Eleven), I’ve switched theme! That’s right! This time I’m trying:
Suburbia by WPShower
Suburbia is a unique magazine theme in a minimalistic style. Designed by WPShower. It features five widget areas, custom header, and custom background. Read more about Suburbia →

It’s worse than my previous WordPress.com theme: Twenty-Eleven. With Suburbia, readers are FORCED to click on the post, which is viewed an “excerpt” from the “front/home” page. Further, there are only four widgets on the bottom bars to keep the page free of “clutter”. In this way, readers are FORCED to focus on boring links. The “primary” sidebar only has three widgets: Search, Gravatar and Meta. The only compromise is my time stamp, which is missing. So I’ll keep looking for my ideal WordPress.com theme.
Auto-refreshing…
Oh, weird! I was trolling the “front/home” page of my WordPress.com weblogs. As I scrolled to the bottom of my weblog, I noticed the “credits” to the theme was not static but transparent as it hovered/stuck to my bottom “bar”. I also noticed that a medium-gray colored circle refreshed the next number of posts to show per “blog page”. Is this something new today, huh?
My protesting SOPA…

I’m protesting the censorship of my weblog! Perhaps, I should STOP blogging and/or render my weblog into “PRIVATE” mode, too! That way, no one will know what I’m thinking! http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/01/18/join-our-censorship-protest/ — I am going to select the “Full Blackout and … Continue reading
